Inspiration

Most Chinese students are the crammers, as one of many, we are all the products of cram education. The only way for crammers to get into the university is Gaokao, so that thier parents and teachers would force them study 12/7 and lots of problems tend to build up.

lots of problems like depression anddomestic violence or whatever are happening on the students. I was diagnosed as moderate depression few years ago and the main reason of my illness is that she had been loneliness and under high stress for a very long time because of cramming education.

Research

I have done some research about the rate of depression of students from age of 11 to 18 in 10 schools in Changsha city.

Because of high school entrance exams, the highest rate of depression in the age group of 17 to 18 years old reached 36.5%. For the age group of 14 to 16, due to high school entrance exam, the rate of depression among middle school students reached to 30.9%. Age group from 11-13, the rate is the lowest.

According to the research, the rate of depression is increasing with the age which means people of depression grow with bigger stress from study.

What parents would do if your study is under their expectation when you are little.

Depressing

I always staring blankly and talking to myself for hours in my room when it is midnight because all I need is a break after studying.

Isolating

Even after the doctor healed my depression, I still prefer being locked my room than going outside to hangout with my friends.

Collapsing

Unstable emotion, the most horrible thing in the world, I had always been depressed for a long time.

Losing

Most of the Chinese parents will get their kids to the cram school before the elementry school, so that the kids have to study instead of having fun.

Fearing

There is a saying in China, “Spare the rod and spoil the kids."

Remoting

"You need to go tutoring class instead of go out playing Pingpong with the friends." They always keep teeling me what I should do on the weekend and it makes me like a puppet.
